The Beginning To My Internet Journey!!
A recap from my National Conference Call from Sunday. I would like to start off by giving you a little background about my wife Michele and I. We’ve been entrepreneurs for over 23 years and we owned and operated an Italian restaurant in Connecticut where I discovered something that back then was called “The Worldwide Web.” I built my first website for the restaurant and asked myself, I wonder if I can make money doing this? That was the beginning to my Internet journey. It started out as a hobby but grew to be a successful and profitable business.
A little over 2 years ago I really started thinking about my future, not only because of the bad economy but also because I noticed a shift happening on the Internet. I realized that many of the big companies had just started to make their online presence.
So being a small fish in a very large pond, we had to look for other ways to secure our income, and that is what lead us to Market America. We were looking for a supplement line to compliment one of our businesses, which happens to be in the fitness industry, but when we were introduced to the product lines, we learned quickly that they offered a diverse portfolio of products and a business system like no other.

I remember the first time we watched the 26 minute video, it really got me to re-think our future. All the technical work has been done for us, all we need to do is tell the world about what we now own. It’s similar to when I was in the restaurant business. When you have the right ingredients and a well trained chef, you can’t help it but put out a great dish. We are all given the right ingredients and with a little bit of training WE CAN expose our website to everyone.
Probably what excited me the most was when I first heard that Market America was purchasing SHOP.COM.
