While we all love Facebook and social media I always like to point out the things we CAN DO and the things we SHOULD NOT DO when it comes to social media and especially Facebook. What I’m talking about is “SHARING”. Yes we all love to share things on Facebook but it’s very important to understand whether you should share or not to share posts, images, etc. that have “LINKS” to other peoples “STUFF” (websites, blogs, YouTube, etc.) that could potentially expose you potential customer or prospect. Facebook and social media tips is the type of information we teach and explain about in our training’s. You really need to understand the importance of it and you should  get more information about what you’re sharing, otherwise you could be sending your customers or prospects to someone else’s website.

Social Media Dos And Dont's

Using Social Media To Grow Your Business

What an incredible moment sharing our passion in front of 25,000 of our peers! Michele and I were asked to share our story about using social media to grow your business at our World Conference 2013 in Miami. We love what we do but more importantly we love that we have the ability to leverage our time and financial future by working anywhere in the world. The bottom line is that we must utilize social media and the Internet in every possible form. If you’re not making use of social media, you are losing sales. See you online!!

Are You Utilizing Facebook Correctly?

Social Media Tips – Are You Utilizing Facebook Correctly?

We all know that social media is the #1 activity today, but it’s important to understand and make sure that we are using it correctly. No more searching for products or services, with social media, they now will find you. You need to build your brand. List your personal and business interests and goals. Post pictures that show you happy. Limit the time wasted in social media. The key to success with social networking is to provide the user what they want and relevant information. Add people and join groups of like interests.

Our company Market America and Shop.com uses the power of Internet marketing and social networking, to teach you how to build a successful business, working part time following a proven business plan. But are your utilizing all the tools? With ShopBox and F-Commerce we are changing the way people use Facebook and online shopping. Are you taking advantage of this?

I would like to share with you an email I received from a fellow Market America distributor about the importance of using Facebook.

Social Media Tips! From Jay Sawyer

Hi Team, I wanted to share with you this post I found about FACEBOOK

Are you looking to meet more people? Are you looking to put more Beans in the Bean Jar?

Would you like to tap into 750,000,000 people with out leaving your home?

Do you have a strategy?

Think about this.

Spending 20 minutes a day, not 20 hours a day.

* Listening and hearing what people are talking about.

* Engage in conversation Positively (information and fun things that happen to you) Every post you make should have a picture or a link to information.

* Create a conversation that people would engage in with you. Ask a question like: I am heading to the grocery store later to day to pickup food for dinner. Does any one have any ideas for dinner?

* Respond to everything that you receive in your in box and messages. Keep your profile clean and neat. People love to be responded to, for yes I will be there, to unfortunately it will not work out in my schedule.

* Friends on average, most people on Facebook have 125 friends. If you have started a profile on Facebook there is a good chance you will have a friends list of 125 people. So if you do the math you have a friends base of over 15,000 people. From 125 friends that you know, they know 15,000 people. WOW!

1st thing you need to do is open a Facebook account. Set up your profile, all positive stuff about you. Make it interesting and fun. Watch what people are saying. DO NOT GO FOR A SOLUTION WITH A SALE UNTIL YOU GET TO KNOW THEM. It’s the 80/20 rule ~ Post 80% of the time about you and your life, post 20% about business. If you jump on them to quickly, they will run away from you. MA has created awesome tools for social media for Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin. Use them wisely.

Think about the Golden Rule. Would you like or respond if someone did that to you, or would you run?
