When I first started my Internet business venture back in 2000, it started as a hobby part time while I was owning and operating an Italian restaurant in Connecticut. I wanted to share an article about our President/CEO of Market America JR Ridinger. Recently, he was interviewed by a leading internet marketer in Kris Jones.

Technology allows us to aggregate info about products, prices and deals, and then share it with others.

Consider that Market America already has a monetized network of 180,000 Market America distributors or Shop consultants and 3 million registered Preferred Customers. Social Shopping is when you involve friends and others in the shopping experience, and we already have the community in place. Combine that with Shop.com’s comparison shopping engines and their amazing social shopping platforms like Trend Shop or the patented E-gifts. We believe it challenges online shopping giants like Amazon. You may think that is a lofty or even unrealistic goal because of size and positioning. Social media is the #1 activity today. No more searching for products or services, with social media, they now will find you. You need to build your brand. List your personal and business interests and goals. Post pictures that show you happy. Limit the time wasted in social media. The key to success with social networking is to provide the user what they want and relevant information. Add people and join groups of like interests. Use the “advance search” to find friends.

If you’re not “Tech Savvy” then hire your kids or find some young people.

Facebook is more about friends and family
Linked In is more about business
Twitter tweets are indexed in “Real Time”

In the search box, you can type in any word with the # before the word and it will give you the results so you can follow.

Add co-workers and current connections. Add people and join groups and networks of your interests, (example health, cosmetics, etc.)

* Invite 10 friends a week
* Listen to them and listen to them before making the recommendations
* Listen to what they respond to
* Introduce to them what they need
* Accept invites and sent invites
* Share experience, events and success stories
* Ask for opinions or polls
* Ask for help or or information or assistance
* Comment on their posts
* People love to talk about themselves
* Share reviews or articles
* Look for a product that will resolve their problem
* Nest time they need to shop, offer to assist and get then the best deal

Space Shuttle Discovery’s Last Launch, Viewed From Airplane [VIDEO]

 

Talk about being at the “right place at the right time”. Most of us have seen shuttle launches on TV or video, but imagine the delight of airline passengers when suddenly the Space Shuttle Discovery appeared, beginning its final voyage into space late Thursday afternoon.

This video was shot by software developer Neil Monday aboard his flight from Orlando, which was running late, but that’s a good thing — he and his fellow passengers were soon presented with this unbelievable moment of amazement.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t think many people can say they have seen the space shuttle launch from the air.
